DAY 1 LA PAZ

DAY 2 LA PAZ – SUCRE

Constitutional capital of Bolivia, historical and cultural treasure of Mankind, and Monumental City of America. Sucre has no adjectives to adequately describe its incredible colonial beauty: the House of Liberty, where Bolivar signed the Declaration of Independence, the Bell of Freedom at San Francisco cloister, the second oldest university in South America… It was also the home of the Spanish bourgeoisie during the peak of Potosí's mining period. DAY 3 SUCRE - POTOSI - SUCRE

Silver was discovered during the 16th century. The mineral brought a profound change to Europe's economy, and as a consequence, to life in the city of Potosí, one of the highest cities in the world. A century later, it became one of the world's three most important cities, due to the enormous potential of its silver mines. A visit to the mines as well as Cerro Rico, which overlooks the entire city of Potosí, is therefore essential in order to appreciate the arduous work that was done by the miners. Potosí's wealth in silver competes with its richness in architecture, as may be seen at the Casa de la Moneda. DAY 4 SUCRE – LA PAZ
