DAY 1 BELIZE CITY – CAYO DISTRICT

Meet and greet upon arrival in Belize City and transfer to the Cayo District. Enroute visit to the Belize Zoo. Free evening. Overnight at Windy Hill Cottages.

DAY 2/3 – CAYO DISTRICT

Days at leisure. Suggested activities: Go horseback riding, canoeing the Macal River, or hiking in the jungle. Visit the nearby Mayan ruins of Xunantunich or El Pilar, take a full-day excursion to Mountain Pine Ridge, or cross the border and marvel at the imposing ruins of Tikal in Guatemala. Overnight Windy Hill Cottages

DAY 4 – CAYO DISTRICT – BELIZE CITY – AMBERGRIS CAYE

Transfer to the airport in Belize City to take a short flight to Ambergris Caye. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight at Tropica Resort or similar.

DAY 5/6 – AMBERGRIS CAYE

Days at leisure. Suggested activities: Relax at the beach, take advantage of the varied water sports in the area including snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing and sailing, or visit the Maya ruins of Lamanai. Overnight at Tropica Resort or similar.

DAY 7 – AMBERGRIS CAYE – BELIZE CITY – OUT

Your short flight to the international airport in Belize City.
